Why you should be a DG at the University of Texas

1. ALL of the girls are truly genuine. There is not a moment you will not find yourself without the support of a loving sister. You want a true sisterhood? DG.

2. DG is super passionate about our philanthropy, Service For Sight! We work with Texas School for the Blind every 2 weeks, hands on, and you get to meet the COOLEST kids of all ages who get to share their experiences! We also get to play with baby guide dogs (I mean HOW CUTE). You’re truly making a difference, and the opportunities are endless.

3. The house has the biggest square footage of any sorority on campus. What’s better than tons of space to study or dance around to Justin Timberlake songs in the foyer? It’s Nautical themed. Ever wanted to live at a beach house? Be a DG.

4. DG has a pool. A private, just for sisters and invited guests pool. Perfect for a day of relaxation by the water.

5. Delta Gamma has a wide variety of women! Every major you can think of, every personality, every sense of humor! You will never have any trouble fitting in, because all DG wants is the true you!

6. The food. The chefs in DG know how to make a mean meal. Once a month we also have “DG Diner” where everyone, including your friends and family, get to come and enjoy a meal on us!

7. DG puts grades highest on the priority list. You have an important test coming up? Sisters will be lining up to help you study. Are you nervous? In need of advice? There’s no shortage of people to help you out! Scholarship is an important pillar of DG.

8. Delta Gamma is a Nationally ranked sorority with many chapters across the US, and we’ve had many successful, widely known sisters! You may know Patricia Heaton (Frankie Heck from The Middle and Debra Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (SNL and Elaine Benes on Seinfield), Ann Coulter (American conservative social author and political commentator), Kyra Phillips (American news anchor on CNN), Samantha Harris (past cohost of Dancing with the Stars), and most widely known amongst millennials, Sabrina Bryan (Dorinda in The Cheetah Girls). All DG’s!

9. You will meet your best friends, future bridesmaids, shoulders to cry on, and random ice cream trip buddies! They’re the girls to squeal with you when you succeed, and pick you up when you fall.
